Business Edition
OnePosting Business Edition works in harmony with your back office accounting system to provide an interface to mobile computing devices and third party systems.
Customer details and invoicing are handled by your back office system, while functions such as creating routes (journey plans) and assigning orders to devices are managed online. In addition, the management of fixed or roaming assets such as vending machines, equipment, or plant can be undertaken online.
Transaction Query
Transactions can be queried whether they originate in a back office system, mobile device, or third party system.
Where customers have signed a handheld screen, the image of the signature can be displayed.
Journey Management
The Journey Management module can be used to assign customers and orders to journeys for delivery, sales or service activity.
It can be used to manage multiple journeys across multiple depots.
Asset Management
There are very few accounting systems that provide asset tracking and asset management functionality. This module enables your organisation to track fixed or roaming assets. A roaming asset is equipment, machinery or plant that is provided for long or short periods of time to your customers.
Roaming assets need to be tracked to know their current location as well as all previous locations, and may need service activity recorded against them.
The entire history of an asset from acquisition to disposal is maintained and can be accessed through this module.
Order Processing
Sales Orders recorded in the field by mobile computing devices can be managed in this module.
They can be displayed, cancelled, printed or sent to customers by email.
The number of orders received from a specific device can also be monitored.
POD Processing
A POD is proof that specific items and quantities were delivered to a customer. There are a variety of terms used to describe this document including POD; Proof of Delivery; Delivery Ticket; and Delivery Docket.
Irrespective of the term used, PODs can be queried from this module to show their content, images showing customer signatures can be displayed.
A useful but unusual feature of this module is that Unproductive PODs, i.e. visits to customers where a delivery was not undertaken, can be displayed. The reason why a delivery did not occur is displayed.
Mobile Device Management
Handheld Devices authorised to send and receive information are managed in this module.
Authorising devices in this way protects the security and integrity of your information.
