Device Management
All handheld computers authorised to send and receive information are managed in this module.
In addition to viewing the list of devices authorised to communicate with the system, devices may be activated and deactivated
to cater for situations where new devices are added, or devices have to be disabled when they are no longer in use.
Unique Features
Some of the unique features of this module include:
- Automated device registration - the software installation process on handheld devices automatically registers them on the system
- Deactivate devices - devices can be deactivated if they are no longer being used or to stop them communicating if they have been lost or stolen
- Activate devices - a deactivated device may be activated again if it is found having been lost

Device List
This module lists all handheld devices that are authorised to communicate information. The activities highlighted above
can be undertaken for each device. In addition, the following information can be recorded for each device:
- Default vehicle - the vehicle on which the device is normally used
- Default site - for Electronic Goods Received Note type applications, the site on which the device is normally used
- Default user - the operator that normally uses the device
- Country - country in which the device is normally used
- Download all customers in assigned territories - van sales applications typically download all customers in a territory to a handheld
