Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is designed to compliment your existing back office system and to provide access to images of
transactions recorded by mobile computing devices.
Online Queries
Any transaction can be retrieved using its transaction reference number. The types of transaction that can be queried online are:
- POD (Proof of Delivery) - confirms the items delivered to a customer
- Order - lists the items ordered by a customer
- Service Ticket - lists the work undertaken for a customer
Once retrieved, an image of each transaction can be displayed (including a customer signature if available). Each transaction
can be printed or sent to a customer by email.
Transactions can also be located by:
- Customer - all transactions associated with a customer can be displayed for a given date range
- Device - all transactions recorded on a specific device can be retrieved for a given date range
- Date - all transactions recorded for a specific date can be retrieved
Device Management
Mobile computing devices are managed in this module. Functions available include:
- View devices - view a list of all devices authorised to receive data
- Activate devices - activate devices so that they can exchange data
- Deactivate devices - prevent specified devices from exchanging data
Every type of supported mobile device is managed in this module irrespective of the application that they are running. Typical
applications include:
- Sales reps recording orders and updating information on customers and prospects
- Van sales reps who sell and deliver products
- Delivery drivers recording deliveries and collections
- Warehouse personnel record stock receipts, issues and movements
- Construction site staff recording the receipt of deliveries to sites
- Service engineers recording jobs undertaken
