How does it work?
Suppliers transmit Electronic Shipping Notices (eSN) when items are dispatched. These are displayed on handheld computing devices used by site staff who mark off the items when they are received.

Recording the receipt of deliveries electronically as they occur eliminates issues of missing dockets and discrepancies between what the supplier says was delivered and the building contractor's record of what was received.
The reason for this is that the building contractor records the items received, and this is counter-signed by the driver delivering on behalf of the supplier.
